Uncle Nearest 1856 Premium Aged Whiskey

Smoothness with substance. Uncle Nearest 1856 Premium Aged Whiskey honors the legacy of Nathan “Nearest” Green, the first known African American master distiller. Bottled at 100 proof and charcoal-mellowed in the Tennessee style, it combines richness and balance in equal measure. The aroma opens with vanilla, caramel, and toasted oak, accented by honey and baking spice. A sip reveals brown sugar, maple, and ripe stone fruit unfolding into warm spice and polished wood. The finish lasts long and mellow—sweet oak and gentle pepper fading slowly. More than whiskey, it’s heritage captured in a glass: bold, generous, and unmistakably Southern.
