NES Play Action Football - NES

NES Play Action Football is a Nintendo Entertainment System sports game built around pro-style football play calling and on-field execution. The game centers on the NES Power Bowl, with offensive and defensive strategy deciding sacks, long gains, substitutions, and fourth-down moments.

• Cleaned, tested, and guaranteed to play. Authentic cartridge.
• Choose from 8 teams featuring real pro players under an official National Football League Players Association license.
• Gameplay emphasizes selecting offensive plays and defensive coverage before each snap, including zone defense that can shut down deep passes.
• Player management factors into the action, with tired backfields and substitution decisions affecting drives.
• NES Satellite or NES Four Score support allows simultaneous four-player teamwork in multiplayer football sessions.

The title captures an early console football style focused on play selection, yardage situations, and clock-pressure decisions rather than modern presentation layers. Its NFLPA connection gives the roster concept a specific pro-football hook within the NES sports lineup.
